Q1. What are the restrictions and/or rules when using a YumFinder gift certificate?
A1. All of the following appply:
- You can only use one (1) YumFinder gift certificate per visit.
- You must have at least two (2) people in your party.
- With parties of four (4) or more, two (2) certificates can be used on a single ticket.
- There is no cash back on YumFinder gift certificates
- You cannot apply YumFinder gift certificates toward gratuity or taxes.
- You cannot use a YumFinder.com combined with any other discount program or promotion.
Q2. What are the major differences between a YumFinder gift certificate and a gift certificate issued by a restaurant?
A2. Here are the major differences:
- A YumFinder gift certificate gives you the ability to earn YumFInder reward points that can be redeemed for great reward items.
- YumFinder gift certificates are only sold in two specific amounts: $20 certificates good toward items on a Dinner Menu, and $10 certificates good toward items on Lunch and Happy Hour menus.
- A YumFinder gift certificate cannot be applied toward gratuity or taxes.
- There is no cash back on YumFInder gift certificates.
- There must be two or more people on the bill for a YumFInder gift certificate to be used.
- A YumFinder gift certificate cannot be used with any other discount program or promotion.
Q3. How do I use my Yumfinder gift certificate?
A3. After reviewing your bill simply include your YumFInder gift certificate along with your credit card or cash. Your server will apply the YumFinder gift certificate amount ($20 or $10) from your food and beverage bill total.
Q4. Can I be reimbursed for a YumFinder gift certificate purchase?
A4. Yes, but your request must be emailed to us within 30 days of purchase. Simply click on Contact Us and request a reimbursement.
Q5. When can I use my $20 YumFinder gift certificate?
A5. The $20 amounts are only good towards items on a Dinner menu.
Q6. When can I use my $10 YumFinder gift certificate?
A6. The $10 amounts are only good towards items on Lunch and Happy Hour menus for those restaurants that offer these certificates.
Q7. What is the expiration date on YumFinder gift certificates?
A7. There is no expiration date. However, we strongly advice you use it within 90 days.
Q8. What is the expiration on YumFinder Restaurant Reward Certificates?
A8. The restaurant reward certificates are identical in all ways to the certificates which are purchased. Therefore they have no expiration date, but we do advice you to use it within 90 days.
Q9. What is the expiration date on Reward Certificates other than for dining?
A9. All other certificates, (Spas, Salons, Golf, Hotel/Resorts, Winery, Sports Tickets, etc) will have expiration or event dates. You can find all rules, restrictions, and expiration details in the Reward Me section of the YumFinder website.
Q10. Where can I find a record of my YumFinder gift certificate purchases and reward redemptions?
A10. Click on My Account and login.
Q11. Where do I go to see how many points I have accumulated?
A11. If you click on Reward Me and login, you will see the number of points yet to be used toward a reward. By clicking on My Account you can login and see a summary of your gift certificate activity.
Q12. How do I redeem my YumFinder points for Rewards?
A12. Click on Reward Me and sign-in. You will then see how many points you have to redeem and can pick your reward via the selection form.
Q13. Where do I go to view the YumFinder rewards chart?
A13. The rewards chart can be found on the Homepage in Box 3 or Click on Reward Me and sign in.
Q14. What do I do if I believe my YumFinder account is inaccurate?
A14. Simply click on Contact Us and provide us the details.
Q15. What do I do if I a restaurant does not honor my YumFinder confirmation number?
A15. Email us so we can assist you. We will contact you within 24 hours. At the very least you will be given an option to get your money back or select another restaurant.
Q16. What is your privacy policy for personal information?
A16. We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To notify you of a purchase.
- To notify you of a redeemed reward.
- To update you on any operational changes regarding YumFinder
- To notify you of exclusive YumFinder specials.
- To return a phone call or email from you.
Q17. How do I update My Account?
A17. Click on My Account and sign in. Then click the Update My Information button. From there you can make changes. When done click on the Save button.
